Edward Zyszkowski
Chairman & CEO | edzLabs, LLC
Edward Zyszkowski is the CEO of edzLabs LLC and the managing partner of 3x3 Capital LLC. Zyszkowski previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Skyview Capital LLC. He oversaw technology strategy, diligence, and oversight for Skyview Capital investments and its portfolio companies. He also served as Chief Technology Officer at Skyview Ventures, Digital Fuel LLC and NewNet Communications Technologies LLC.
As a visionary leader, Zyszkowski has created billions of dollars of value and a legacy of industry-transforming technologies. He started his career at the Research Institute for Advanced Studies (Martin Marietta) as a principal investigator, building robotics systems for the Space Shuttle. He later invented foundational “data mining” technologies and developed parallel text search systems for Dow Jones and Microsoft while at Thinking Machines Corporation in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Zyszkowski later founded and led Torrent Systems to develop Orchestrate, a parallel processing big data environment, later sold to IBM that forms the basis for their Information Server product. He has also assembled, inspired and led high performing teams to create pivotal technology companies that he sold to Boeing, Yahoo! and Google. Zyszkowski holds numerous technology patents and continues to explore the next wave of transformational technology, including the explosion of big data, AI and machine learning across decentralized systems.
Zyszkowski is a member of the Editorial Board of IEEE Spectrum and serves on the External Advisory Committee of the Electrical and Computer Engineering department of the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins. He completed his undergraduate degree and graduate studies in Biophysics at the Johns Hopkins University, postgraduate studies at MIT and an eMBA at Babson College.
Igal Vainer

Igal Vainer serves as the CTO of Personal Digital Spaces, bringing over 20 years of expertise in the development and deployment of new technologies. Vainer received his BSc in Computer Science from Technion in Haifa, Israel, and received his MSc in Computer Science from University of Illinois, Chicago, IL.
Vainer has a diverse background in advanced technologies, enterprise architecture and software products design and delivery. He leads multiple technology teams delivering software products and solutions across various business domains including Financials, Healthcare and Industrials. He enjoys working on disruptive technologies and advanced R&D projects.
Lori Fena
Head of Business Development
Lori Fena is a recognized technology policy thought-leader, entrepreneur, and author. Fena works with pioneering high tech companies to introduce new forms of technology, as well as innovative policy. Since the start of the networked computing era to the Block Chain, Big Data world of today she has combined technical curiosity, business acumen, and an activist nature to help found ground-breaking technology companies and to institute international policy.
After receiving a B.S. Magna Cum Laude in Business Information Systems from CSULA, and an Executive Certificate from Harvard Business School – Board Governance for Nonprofit Excellence, Fena began her career as a Business Manager at Applied Physics in Pasadena. She then moved to Silicon Valley to become Convergent Technologies’ Product Manager for Compilers and later the Director of Unix Software Product Management and ISV Programs. She founded and sold an IP strategy company and became the VP of Business Development at Stream International, a $1.2 billion dollar merger of Corporate Software and RR Donnelly Global Software Services.
In addition to running her own companies, Fena is an active investor and board advisor to a number of technology companies. She was Executive Director and later the Chairman of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. She is the founder and Chairman Emeritus of TRUSTe.org, and served as the Internet Policy Program Director at the Aspen Institute.Cory Pitt
Product & Partnerships
Cory Pitt joined edzLabs in June 2018. He previously developed and deployed Leaf Global Fintech's product for their first technical pilot on the border of Goma (DRC) and Gisenyi (Rwanda). Leaf is a virtual bank that provides vulnerable populations with access to financial services such as the storage and transport of assets across borders using the Stellar blockchain. Prior to Leaf, Pitt assisted Dr. Doug Schmidt at Vanderbilt University in researching Optrak, a solution to tracking opioid prescriptions via distributed ledger technology and biometrics.
Pitt holds degrees in Computer Science and Economics from Vanderbilt University and received the Nichols Humanitarian Award for his work in Rwanda.
